The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines – Jasaan Campus is now officially recognized as one of the MikroTik Academies in the Philippines.
Mikrotik is a Latvian manufacturer of computer networking equipment which was founded in 1996 to develop routers and wireless ISP systems.
MikroTik is expanding RouterOS learning possibilities by launching the MikroTik Academy Program. The MikroTik Academy Program is for educational institutions such as universities, technical schools, colleges, vocational schools, and other educational institutions. (mikrotik.com/training/academy)
Taking into account that the demand for MikroTik Certified Engineers is constantly increasing, MikroTik is offering higher educational institutions the possibility to organize Networking classes using RouterOS as a learning tool. Students may obtain an internationally recognized certificate (MTCNA) that confirms their academic credentials.
Being part of the MikroTik Academy means that USTP-Jasaan Campus can offer Mikrotik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) course to the students for free.
Mr. Julieto P. Catipay of the College of Information Technology and Computing has been officially recognized by MikroTik as a MikroTik Certified Academy Trainer after successfully completing the appropriate trainings and certification requirements. He has been also awarded MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) and Mikrotik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE) certifications, last March 12-16, 2019 held at Harolds Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City.
